About the Website/App Feature Requests category

Welcome to Feature Requests! This is the place to suggest new ideas and improvements for the NRL Hunter website and mobile app.

You must be an NRL Member or Match Director to suggest ideas.

We’re constantly working to make the platform better for shooters, Match Directors, and Range Officers. Your feedback directly helps shape the future of:

  • Match registration and management
  • Scoring (both on the website and in the official NRL Hunter Scoring app)
  • Shooter and match stats
  • Leaderboards and season tracking
  • Check-in processes
  • Match directing tools
  • And everything else that makes running and participating in NRL Hunter matches smoother

How to Submit a Feature Request

  1. Search first — Please check if someone has already suggested your idea (use the search bar at the top).
  2. Create one topic per idea — Keep each request focused on a single feature or improvement.
  3. Be as detailed as possible — Explain:
    • What problem it solves
    • Who it helps (shooters, ROs, Match Directors, etc.)
    • How you think it should work
  4. Vote — Use the voting arrows to show support for ideas you like. The most-voted requests will get higher priority.

Examples of Good Requests

  • “Add the ability for Match Directors to export shooter data as a CSV”
  • “Improve mobile check-in flow in the scoring app so it works better with poor cell service”
  • “Show season-long percentage rankings on the main leaderboard”

What We Probably Won’t Do Here

  • Bug reports (please use the bug report feature on the website)
  • General match or shooting questions (use the appropriate forum categories)
  • Feature requests that go against NRL Hunter rules or core format

We read every request and the votes help us decide what to build next. Popular and well-explained ideas have a very good chance of making it into the roadmap.

Thanks for helping make NRL Hunter better — the community’s input is what keeps this platform improving!
