Has anyone used the Gripchanger? If so, what are your thoughts, and do you need to use a 419 rail? Thanks for any input
The Gripchanger will fasten to an ARCA rail, so you don’t need a 419 rail. It’s a darn thin bag so won’t provide much stability. Imo it’s a desperation move for poking your rifle thru a small hole that won’t accommodate a real bag. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one at a PRS match and those types have lots of different bags.
For NRL Hunter, I’d just carry a few different kinds of bags on your ruck and be done with it. Poke your rifle thru a little hole would be a hard sell as a legit hunting scenario.
Thanks for the input! Makes perfect sense. I saw a guy at a PRS match with something like it, but it was about 6 inches thick. The only time I have seen something like it, and I thought this 419 product might be similar.
