I’ve been shooting the 140’s and have a load I’m pretty happy with and can spot impact consistently. Now if I make the right correction is another story, lol.
I’m curious though if stepping up to the 153.5’s has an advantage or what your experience is. Throwing some numbers on estimated velocity I’m not seeing much difference in wind and some on elevation. Does the benefit come more from impact report?

I shoot both. First I would say you really want a 7.5 twist despite what the boxes say. I’ve helped a good number of people get into 153.5’s and 8 twists just don’t group them consistently in my experience. The benefit for NRLH and PRS is impact signature, wind deflection in moments of gusts, and when you run them around 2680ish fps it allows you to see more and process more. Recoil is just like a big push. Very easy to shoot. I shot 153’s exclusively in PRS for like 1.5 seasons. And shot them last year for NRLH as well.

Thats interesting. I have a pile of 140 and 147 eldms and my gun shoots them pretty equally. I again recently tried 153 atips and 153.5 lrht and cant get as good of groups as the eldms- with an 8 twist. Adequate groups, but around 1 moa in prefect scenario. I immediately tried a 5 round group of 147 eldms after getting frustrated and shot a .6 group standing off the tripod with tripod rear.
Yea just not enough twist. Doesn’t matter what the box says. 7.5 or 7 is the way to go for any 6.5mm with heavies
I buy 7.5 twist for all of my 6.5 barrels now just in case. I shot the 153’s in Raton this year and I thought they shot well, but decided to go for a little more speed and compromised with the 144s.
Using the same components as the OP I have them cruising at 2750, accurate and recoil isn’t bad.
